What do you need to know before factory resetting your Android phone?

First, open your phone’s Settings app, and go to System

On the reset page, you will see some options:
- Reset Wi-Fi, mobile & Bluetooth: this is good and often reliable to solve Internet connection problems, as it removes the network to search for it and insert its credentials again.

Then, you will see a list of all content that will be affected by the full reset. This includes your Google account, system and app data & settings, all games and applications downloaded from the Internet, music, photos, and all media and other data on the phone’s internal memory.
- Once you click on “Erase all data”, you will be logged out of your Google account. Enter your PIN to confirm that you are the owner of the phone and not someone else.
• All your personal data, whether from apps, media, or others, will be wiped out. Click on “Erase all data” and note that you can no longer undo it now.
Make sure that the phone has enough charging capacity, or you can connect it to the charger to complete the process successfully. In a few minutes, the process will be over and that’s it.
